Brian's Update for Monday, April 2nd, Day 48
Good morning all,
Alas and alack, the bladder issue hasn't gone away. Seems that yesterday was something of a fluke. The plan is for Brian to have a procedure done where they send a device into his bladder that measures the amount of pressure he can exert. They will likely do still another procedure using a camera to check for any blockages that may be contributing to the issue. I will let you know when that is planned for.
This morning the PTs arrived at 8AM for his first session, well before breakfast. Uncle Benny, who arrived Sunday night, reported that they were all sleeping soundly when Chris, the PT came knocking. Chris worked hard with Brian's right leg even to the point of adding weights to it. Jana is very excited at how Brian is progressing. Even Chris reported that he could see improvement just from this past Friday when he saw Brian last.
This afternoon Dawn, the occupational therapist will be in to work on Brian's right arm an elbow. His progress seems to continue to accelerate a little each day. We do have pictures that I will post this evening once I get to Fraziers. We will get to see Brian and his nephew, Evin, in all their glory.
Grateful for your kindnesses each day,
The Wright and Brocious families
