Brian's Update for Wednesday, April 11th

Good Afternoon!
Brian continues to increase his stamina and distance covered when they put him on the indoor track. He can make 3 trips around the large room now. If you go to this link you can see the room that Brian does his physical therapy in. When the page loads, wait just a second and you will see a video that shows you all around the room.

I will share one frustration that Brian has right now. It is obvious that his right elbow will still be a very long way from healed by the time he gets to go home. It may be up to a year before it is back to health. His fishing this summer is definitely going to take a hit. His ability to get around will require assistance for a while too. To get around on the farm we have a gas powered golf cart. It needs some work to get it running reliably but we'll get started on that very soon. We will try to find ways to keep him busy doing other things. We haven't talked to Lowes yet about possible work he could do, so that is another possibility if we can figure out transportation issues. But it is nice to have these issues to deal with, isn't it?
